Privacy Notice

This notice explains how A.C.E Plastering Services uses personal information collected through this website and when you contact us about our services.

Last updated: 5 October 2026

Who is responsible for your information?

A.C.E Plastering Services is the data controller for the personal information described in this notice. You can contact us at a.c.eplasteringservices@outlook.com or on 07511 668111.

Information we collect

When you submit the website quote form, we collect your name, phone number or email address, town, and a brief description of the work you need. The form also includes a hidden technical field used to help identify automated submissions; it is not used to contact you.

If you choose to contact us by telephone, email, WhatsApp or another linked third-party service, we may receive the information you choose to send in that conversation.

How and why we use your information

We use enquiry information to respond to you, understand the work you have asked about, prepare or discuss a quote, arrange work where appropriate, and keep a record of the enquiry while it is needed.

Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract when you ask us for a quote or service information. We may also use legitimate interests to manage and protect enquiries, prevent spam and keep our communications secure. Where we must keep information to meet a legal obligation, that legal obligation is our lawful basis.

Who we share information with

Website quote submissions are sent through Resend, our email delivery provider, to the A.C.E Plastering Services Outlook inbox at a.c.eplasteringservices@outlook.com. We use Vercel to host this website; Vercel may process limited technical information needed to deliver and secure website requests.

Google Fonts and the Google Maps service-area embed are used on the website. Those providers may receive limited technical information when your browser loads their resources. Facebook, MyBuilder and WhatsApp links take you to those external services only if you choose to use them; their own privacy notices apply to their services.

We do not sell personal information or use the public website for advertising profiles.

How long we keep information

The website does not store quote submissions in a website database. We keep enquiry information in our email and business records only for as long as necessary to respond, prepare or provide services, manage any related records, and meet legal or accounting obligations. We review information periodically and delete or anonymise it when it is no longer needed.

Cookies and analytics

The public website does not use analytics or advertising cookies, and no Google Analytics measurement is configured. When you accept the website notice, an essential local preference in your browser’s local storage records that acknowledgement so the notice does not keep appearing. We do not use the public website to create advertising profiles. If you follow a link to another service, that service may use its own cookies and privacy controls.

How we protect information

We use HTTPS for the website and apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect enquiry information. Access is limited to what is needed to handle enquiries and provide services. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to reduce the risk of unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

Your rights

Subject to UK data-protection law, you may have the right to request access to your personal information, ask us to correct inaccurate information, request deletion, ask us to restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and request a copy in a portable format where applicable. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

To request access, correction or deletion, please email a.c.eplasteringservices@outlook.com or call 07511 668111. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Making a complaint

Please contact us first if you have a concern about how we use your information. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK regulator for data protection, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
